EVERY BRILLIANT THING, starring our own Jarvis Antonio Green in his JAG Productions acting debut, is a heartwarming, immersive one-person show.
Caught up in a personal story of parenthood and childhood, confusion and joy, depression and hope, the narrator engages with the audience to create a list of everything worth treasuring in this life - everything brilliant.
This unique play ensures that every performance will be completely one-of-a-kind.
Every Brilliant Thing runs from April 27 through May 14 at the Briggs Opera House in White River Junction, VT.
JAG PRODUCTIONS ANNOUNCES 2022/2023 SEASON
JAG’s 7th and Most Ambitious Season Yet Is Titled “The Freedom Practice”
JAG Productions, a Vermont and New York City-based company serving as an artistic sanctuary for Black creatives in the American theatre, is thrilled to announce its 2022/2023 season!
JAG’s exciting seventh season, including new play and musical development, a residency at New York Theatre Workshop, the return of the wildly popular Theatre on the Hill, and a fully realized production of a new Afro-surrealist dark comedy presented in Vermont and New York City, centers around themes of freedom and healing. The season is titled The Freedom Practice!
Recent Tony Award-winner Britton Smith, the self-identified Black Gay Mega Pastor, is bringing his funk liberation band Britton & The Sting to King Arthur’s outdoor space, for four performances of Theatre on the Hill.
Funk, gospel, soul, and testimony will echo through the Vermont landscape as Britton and the Sting spread the gospel of authenticity and inclusion, bridging the way to radical liberation. The band’s anthem, “Let’s Get Drunk and Go to Church”, speaks volumes about the mission and identity of this talented pack of musicians, who preach to the congregation out loud and without apology
Join us for an evening of decadent Southern home cooking and gorgeous cabaret performances from some of your favorite JAG artists. Cocktails begin at 6:00 PM at the Cornerstone Community Center, and dinner and performances start at 7:30 PM.
